RESILIENCY AND TRAUMA: How specialized brain exercise is helping our veterans and how it can help you.
Rick Allen and Lauren Monroe with special guest Pam Tarr from Homecoming for Veterans uncover new techniques in healing the mind and body through brain training. Learn how an effective therapy called Neuro Feedback works with the brain and how it can positively impact life after trauma. Topics will also include how our combat Veterans are finding significant relief from PTSD using Neurofeedback, and how it not only can help warriors coming back from combat but can also help anyone who is struggling with emotional or physical stress. Neurofeedback is frequently used by top athletes and sports enthusiasts to improve focus, mental acuity and physical performance and is proving to be an amazing and powerful tool in healing from the inside out.
As Executive Director of Homecoming For Veterans (HC4V), Pam Tarr is focused on providing mental health care for those in need due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. HC4V’s neurofeedback programs have benefited thousands of veterans and active duty service members across the country. Pam’s work in the non-profit sector is supported by her deep network of resources from the entertainment and advertising industries where she has been a leader for over thirty years. While running her film production company, Squeak Pictures, for 15 years, Pam served as West Coast President of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. Her extensive work with non-profit organizations includes Rock The Vote, Council For A Livable World, The Boomer Coalition and Partnership For A Drug-Free America. She believes that doing good and doing well are synonymous. Pam is a graduate of Stanford University.
