About me

“About me’s” are always hard, I never know what to say. I’ll just state the basics and change later. I’ve been a fan of Def Leppard for well over 20 years. My little brother introduced me to them when he was teaching himself how to play the drums. He’d sit and practice to DL and Kiss with his headphones on so all we heard was his drumming. Other times he’d do it with the music so we could hear. My own brother has amazing musical talent. He’s completely self-taught on the drums, after high school and a brief stent in Cali with his band friends he finally picked up and learned how to read music then learned how to play guitar and believe it or not that’s what he’s doing now.

I have 2 wonderful children, one girl (18) and one boy (12) and an amazing fiancé. I love music, reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with my children and fiancé. I have a niece and nephew who are both Marines. My niece has already been to Iraq and my nephew is training to be sent over shortly :o( I’m not too happy about that. My niece fears nothing and seemed to handle it well but my nephew is so quiet and laid back. He’s got the sweetest personality. Positive thinking: he will do well, all will be good for him too and he’ll be back shortly. Both of them are my older brother Tom’s children. He’s super proud of them both.

I work for a publishing company as a proofreader. We produce the phone books but now we’ve extended way past the print and we do internet advertising as well. I also volunteer at my local fire company in East Whiteland, PA. I work on the fire police end so I’m the person who tells you that you can’t go down that road, you must turn around, lol... I joined because my fiancé is a fireman and so is my older brother. My father was a fireman too.

Well, that’s a little more than the basics but it’s all good. Oh, oh, oh!!! Forgot to say my daughter and I met Rick after a show. Thank you Rick for taking the time to say hello to us!! You rock!!
